Because I like red pulsing spheres and it should have something that modernizes but not completely changes the game. I beleive that some artistic freedoms can be taken without hurting the game. I always thought that probe needed a little red sphere in the center of it that glowed slightly. I’ll render something later and show what I mean. It’s not even far off from what is already done.
Someone just pointed out to me that the Genesis version was red in the middle of the Velox probe. Hmm.
